Letter "P" Potluck

Perfect, Pleasant, Potluck "P" Food Party! Actually record-setting too, as 36 families (new high) with 102 people (new high) and 14 dogs enjoyed perfect weather in addition. Neither too hot or too cold, with almost no wind. It was a great evening to gather with old and new neighbors. Even though there were lots of people, it never felt that way as the kids scattered into the grass and play areas, a few came early and departed early and some came later and lingered well into the twilight.

Our theme, foods with the letter "P" for "Potluck", brought out creativity and plenty of puns all evening. There actually were pretzels, popcorn, potato salad (at least 3), pizza (of course!), plums, peachs (pie, in chocolate pudding, and delicious peach, cilantro & chicken quesadillas), pumpkin pie, penne pasta, pear tomatoes, peanut butter cookies, cheese with a P name (sorry didn't get it) and a cake with pink and purple "P"s!

We had at least four new families join the festivities, and hope the Baileys, Bouteilles, Grayeskis and Trails will become regulars in the future.
