A perfect summer evening. Lots of good food, friendly dogs, and best of all, great neighbors. By one count we topped the century mark - 38 kids, plus 50 adults and 17 dogs equals 105. A best guess of who all was there is below (corrections appreciated!)

An almost hot day mellowed into a pleasant evening as a gentle breeze filled in as the sun sank behind the redwoods. Several people remarked at the great salads which were in abundance, and more offerings arrived as the evening went on. Kids of all ages mingled and played on the grass and the playgrounds. The 17 dogs sorted things out nicely, and even new one-year-old Briscoe quickly developed good table manners, and effervescent Ally played nice with all.

With kids at play, adults caught up with one another, and welcomed some new faces into the group. With tykes in strollers and some pregnant moms, it looks like there will be a continuing supply for the Bubb Park Mothers & Dogs society as the older kids move on to high school -- why there were even a few of them around too.
