A Royal Feast

What a wonderful way to start off another year of bubb Park MOthers & Dogs Society Potlucks in the Park. Warm sunshine and gentle breezes were perfect. The talk of the day was William & Kate's Royal Wedding, and Penny Lynch, British herself, treated us all to bunting and flags to decorate the tables, and a few "flag hats" for special people to wear.

We had an original 24 families planning on coming, but 5 didn't show up and were replaced by 6 that hadn't replied, so we wound up with 25 families and about 70 -75 people, plus 10 dogs! People and dogs in ( ) did not attend.

I had suggested we'd take a group picture, but with the kids all scattered, the opportunity slipped by. We'll try next time. So enjoy the pictures and see you at the next one. Rick (vanmells@ix.netcom.com).
