Mother Nature smiled on the first Bubb Park Mothers & Dogs Society Potluck In The Park for 2012. Not too cold, not too hot, not too windy, but just right for a happy crowd of about 70 folks, representing 27 families, along with 12 dogs.

One particularly nice feature of this Potluck was the addition of several new families and dogs, either as brand new, or seldom seen in the past. Another great feature is the way the kids organize themselves into games and scatter across the expanse of grass and into the play equipment from end to end in Bubb Park.

Food is always a star, and lots of offerings lived up to the Mexican theme. From delicious dips, to a variety of salads, and on to quesadillias and fruit, there was something for everyone. Yet, even with so much good food, and after the great Group Picture, a phalanx of over 20 kids bolted for the dessert table and a piece of cake and one of Jenny, Julia, and Ryan Patterson's Mexican decorated Cake Pops.
