We squeezed one in to wrap up the year. About 59 people from 21 families, and 11 dogs, showed our mettle on a cool but pleasant very fall day. Thursday's rain and Friday's clouds cleared in time for the early, 5:15, opening. Our long table was needed as many hot and tasty dishes arrived in warming blankets, baskets and boxed.

Good thing too, as everyone appreciated the warm food. From wraps to corn dogs, wonderful yams with cranberries and raisins, two kinds of macaroni, fresh baked pies and much more all added up to a delightful fall feast. Check the list and pictures below for all the fun.

It was the last weekday of Daylight Savings, and approaching darkness swiftly filtered through the trees and snuffed the last of the light. A lantern helped, but it was the glow of couples still talking, and a song by three girls, that warmed the final moments of the evening. One by one they departed, until there were none.

Another year of Bubb Park Mothers & Dogs Society Potlucks In The Park had come to a close. Rick & George packed George's van and softly rolled into the night. It was totally dark and 6:59 pm.
